WELCOME, BARBARA BISHOP ACUPUNCTURE
Health is not just about the absence of pain or disease, ideally to avoid unnecessary stress on the body’s many systems it’s best
to maintain an equilibrium. Acupuncture works towards achieving this by focussing on all aspects of wellbeing: physical, mental
and emotional.
Acupuncture is a system of medicine that has been used to restore, promote and maintain good health for thousands of years by Chinese and other Eastern cultures. It is considered beneficial to treat a wide range of illnesses or symptoms, and can also be used as a preventative measure to strengthen the body's constitution. It works by stimulating points on the body which activate the body's own healing mechanisms, and addressing any energy (Qi) imbalances.
